Firkin Comedy Club 24th November 2017

24th November

Friday 24th November

Four great Comedians and a Compere to entertain you! (Artists maybe subject to change)

Closing act:

If you want serious comedy David Tsonos is not your man. His comedy stems from being the youngest of five boys, babysitting his nephews and his cat. He has appeared at the Vancouver Comedy Festival and can be heard on Satellite radio. Whether it’s a Bar gig, a Comedy Club or a Corporate function David makes them laugh until they can laugh no more. (Well maybe a little more.)

David has been touring Canada since 1999, from one end to the other several times, and now doing shows in the USA and the U.K. When not touring David has acted in commercials and TV shows. He also has found time to Write and direct his own independent films.

Opening act:

“Instinctively funny…seems certain to become a comic force to be reckoned with” – Chortle

Fresh and unique, it’s a pleasure to spend time in Harriet’s company as she weaves her surreal and hilarious tales. An imitable raconteur, it’s easy to see how this new act is making a big noise.

Harriet already has heads turning with her baffling tales of a misspent youth, and bewildering personal tales that are so ridiculous, they must be true. Establishing her own style of material and delivery after such a short time, means Harriet’s stock can only continue to rise.

A unique comic voice, Dyer charms any room with matchless material, an offbeat stage presence and a truly whirlwind fizz of energy.

Middles spots

Jake Baker started preforming comedy in the summer of 2013, in his first 18 months he reached the final rounds of several new act competitions and impressed audience up and down the country with his smart wit and laid back confident style.

An instant hit with the audience with a completely unique and hilarious opening which places the audience in the palm of his hand right from the start.
A regular choice of compere and regular act for Jongleurs and has performed around the Uk at many comedy clubs including The comedy store, Glee clubs and having booked to play to a 100,000 strong crowd for the X factor Finalist charity concert the future will certainly be prosperous.
